Sony Ericsson phones get a new photography technology

Acrodea Inc, a Japanese company, has announced a global agreement with Sony Ericsson that will let the Swedish handset vendor to incorporate two of Acrodea’s solutions – VIVID UI and VIVID Panorama – on it’s cellphones globally.

Currently clicking panoramic photographs involve clicking multiple images that get stitched together. However, with VIVID Panorama, the user will instead shoot a video and the software will then give a real-time panoramic still photograph! We have tried clicking a few panoramic pictures the old way and have not yet mastered the art of getting distortion-free pictures.
