Android officially upgrade from v. 2.0 to 2.1 for Google G1

According AndroidSPIN, a community information site Android, those from Google are preparing an official upgrade operating systems for mobile G1.

Perhaps the plan had recently, or maybe it was infused with holiday magic, but the important thing is, when almost no one is waiting, G1 could acquire a new face, at least in Chapter software.

Although he bore “original sin” in terms of launching and promoting the Android OS for mobile phones, he was still part of an official upgrade from Android 1.6 Donut (Gogoasa) to the new version 2.0 Eclair (Éclair).

Not yet known exactly when this upgrade will be about 2.0 or 2.1 V. Eclair. Version 2.0 was available as upgrades to newer models from Samsung, and 2.1 and it comes directly installed on models to be launched, such as Nexus One, aka Google G2.

We could and G1 owners complain and say that they had to wait more than 1 year for this upgrade. Most of them stood with their hands but this time in breast and found different solutions in the form of themes, mods or hack-look version of Eclair to upgrade their phone.

Even so, an official upgrade will be, we think, welcome and well received, in the hope that such information will be confirmed soon and by Google.
