Mobile Decade: From the first camera phone to iPhone 3GS

I joined in 2010 and thought to look over the last ten years mobile environment. Especially since it all happened. Yes, the first mobile phone with a camera, the first 3G network, Windows Mobile, iPhone – ten years have been incredible.

2000 Sharp launches first camera phone, J-SH04. This year will see the first phone with Bluetooth.

2001 First commercial 3G network is launched in Japan, and follows two years later and Europe.

2002 RIM BlackBerry smart phone make its first. T68i Sony Ericsson launches first mobile phone with MMS, which allows users to send longer text and even pictures.

Windows Mobile 2003 is released, reaching widely used by business people working in travel.

Motorola launches the 2004 United States a very thin slider phone, Razr, which immediately becomes a global success. Moreover, still is one of the best selling phones of all time.

2005 Sony Ericsson is launching a superb camera phone, K750i, and one with music, W800i. With these two devices, Sony Ericsson itself as a serious producer to the consumer segment.

2007 Apple launches iPhone in the U.S., and Nokia make Europe a fantastic smart phone, the N95. Samsung beat Motorola in the fight for second place in terms of global sales.

2008 is launched first Android phone, T-Mobile G1 (the HTC Dream), which is required by the new operating system. Appear and the iPhone SDK and iPhone 3G and iPhone applications are crowded.

2009 Palm launches a brand new operating system, WebOS, and a brilliant phone, Pre. Apple comes out on the market with 3GS, and Motorola is the Dext and Milestone.

2010 There are rumors that Apple will release an iPhone or more than one-tablet device. Palm will announce, hopefully, a new phone at CES, and Samsung from around the world expect a stunning revelation.
