An American company, Moto Development Group, found a simple way to test the touchscreen smartphone sites top.
Specifically, they tested how well behaved sensitive screens from four phones: iPhone, HTC Droid Eris, Motorola Droid and Google Droid Nexus One.
Method of testing was very simple: it was used in an elementary application of drawing on the screen. With this application have been drawn lines in different ways: with your finger with your fingertip, slowly, quickly, from start to finish of the screen.
Although it is impossible to trace the finger free perfect lines, theoretically, regardless of pressure exerted and the speed of the drawing, a touchscreen would be ideal to play a straight line to go through the screen from a point other, without interruptions or waving, covering an area as big screen.

Prince had been given three times Motorola over head and pretended a splendid Android smartphone, the touch screen of 3.1 inches and real full QWERTY keyboard.
Like this story begins Backflip (now called Enzo), a phone with a form that can raise questions even the most libertine gadget maniacs.
The phone is equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard foldable real, but it seems like the wrong side of the phone. If all terminals met before, this slide under the display, to Backflip creases on the back of it, but with buttons at the outside.
It seems quite devoid of practical sense, because there are high chances that the buttons, so exposed, to be pressed by mistake. There are probably a very effective way to lock / unlock key, thought the manufacturers, because otherwise this arrangement would not make sense.
In the same manner nonconformist, a touch-sensitive area, trackpad, was placed on the back screen, accessible and active only when the keyboard is opened. And because the back of a phone, where to stay Backflip keyboard, is normally and camera, aceasteia was done immediately, LED flash and all, in the lower left corner of the keyboard.
Otherwise, Backflip, is a very capable phone, taking most of the technical facilities of the model CLIQ: HVGA of 3.1-inch touchscreen, 528MHz processor, 256MB of RAM, 512MB ROM memory on its own (except the card), WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Android software version is 1.5, above which apply costumizata Motorola Motoblur interface.
Was seen only Deocamadata Backflip on American soil, but is equipped with quad-band GSM and Quid-band 3G, covering frequencies worldwide, which gives us hope that we might see in a not too distant future and markets in Europe. Data on launch and price of Backflip not yet been specified.

It was said in the previous chapter that the W230 can’t keep up with fast texters. This is the case throughout the device, the phone lags in every application, and even to just end a program, it will take few seconds.
In today’s software-demanding world, most phones should be able to install Java instant messaging clients and Java web browsers such Opera Mini. Motorola’s ultimate mistake was to leave Java out of the phone, and because of this mistake, users won’t be able to install any third-party applications or games.
The small low-quality 1.6″ display will mean that not much content is going to be seen without scrolling, and it’s easy to guess that the web browser will run better if a user just browses through wap-pages only.
The home screen fits a signal strength indicator, active call notification, battery level sign, among other usual ones, such as the new-message sign and the current profile. Just below that there is the current network, date, d-pad shortcuts, and soft key shortcuts.
The menu is divided in a 3×3 grid, with the following items:

Verizon Wireless cut prices from select handsets and EV-DO modems

Verizon Wireless customers in the market for a new phone may want to wait a bit before bringing home the latest and greatest Verizon has to offer. We have it on good authority that Verizon will be discounting a handful of handsets and a few broadband access modems, possibly as soon as January 22nd. This would be an unusual out of cycle discount as the current rebate sheet continues until January 31st. Select hardware from Verizon Wireless, LG, Casio, Motorola, Samsung and RIM will supposedly see their mail-in rebates increased from $50 to $70. Sure the out of pocket expense is the same but a $20 discount is a $20 discount even if it comes in the form of a rebate check. With the current state of the economy, we’ll take any discount we can get. Hit the jump for a full list of discounted hardware according to our ninja.

Motorola stocks dipped to a five-year low in yesterday’s trading spelling more trouble to the beleaguered handset manufacturer. Moto plans to split into two companies, but whether the market will regain its confidence on Motorola after the split remains to be seen.
My on opinion? Moto’s handset division needs a buyer. Moto needs a major injection of new ideas. Right now, none of its current lineup of handsets seem formidable enough in the current mobile climate. The RAZR might have been Moto’s biggest success, but the line proved to be true to its name as it also spelled suicide for the company that just refused to accept the glory days are over.
