Nokia Software Updater will support now Windows 7

The Nokia Software Updater now supports Microsoft Windows 7 and improved USB connectivity. This release also includes “What’s New” release notes for the software (only available for some products/languages) to conveniently highlight the improvements and new features for your device. Compatibility and system requirements
- Windows XP or Windows Vista (64-bit, Home and Professional) or Windows 7. Other OS (including Mac and Linux running Windows emulators) may work, but are untested.
- Administration rights on the PC while installing
- High-speed internet connection

Good news from Finland! Mozilla Firefox reached finally revolutionary mobile phones, after a long waiting period. Nokia unveils phone charged with Coca-Cola

Nokia has introduced a prototype phone that could work based on the Coca-Cola. Chinese designer Zheng Daizi created a concept mobile phone that could be supplied with refreshments. Bio-loaded battery hold three or four times longer than conventional lithium batteries. The phone would operate on the basis of batteries that use enzymes to generate electricity from carbohydrates.
“I realized that ordinary phone batteries are expensive, consume significant resources when they are made and a problem in recycling, being environmentally harmful,” said Zheng. “The phone uses a bio-battery instead of traditional batteries which pollute.

Nokia N900 can be used as a PS3 controller

Lucky owners of one of the worst smartphones on the market, Nokia N900, have an extra reason for joy.
N900 can be used as a controller for PLAYSTATION 3 games consoloa. This is possible thanks to an alpha application called BlueMaemo. The application allows control of a variety of other devices via Bluetooth, PS3 being one of them.
There is also a short video demonstration N900 controlling console, posted on YouTube by maemo Italy, and all comments are in Italian. Following the clip, you can see how, with the help of the phone connects to the console and how it is used then to go into it.

Interesting news from some employees of the Finnish company (found in a unofficial) which informs us that Nokia is preparing for Q2 2010 a series of dual-SIM phones. The only details known at present is that the facilities will be typical mainstream devices. If the rumors are confirmed, we will see in 2010 a significant increase in dual-SIM phone, after 2009 they have not sparked an interest so great as in years of onset.
One of the reasons that prevent the spread of dual-SIM phones at a level close to that of regular phones is the lack of interest from big companies to manufacture such devices. The only major producer that manifests as how this segment is Motorola. The rest, as we all know, are largely obscure Chinese manufacturers.

The new Nokia N900, N800 or N810 successor models, known for a feature that offers Internet browsing, integrates, besides luxurious list of technical specifications, and a method for making calls. Engadget and Gizmodo famous publications have no absolutely no doubt: the Nokia N900 is a true smartphone you umbreste on N97, spearhead of the Finns.
Basically, the new device is the N97′s technical platform, changed here and there. From a technical standpoint, the differences are numerous compared to N97: missing slide display which sit at an angle of 30 degrees from the QWERTY keyboard, missing keys on the front (at Home Hardware and the touch, call ) and the Qwerty keyboard has larger keys, positioned in a common block.
Heart of N900 is an ARM Cortex processor running at 600 Mhz. RAM is 256 MB, but applications can still dig into the 768 MB of internal memory of 32 GB, the system sees all the RAM, if necessary. A microSD card can provide even 16 GB, leading to 48 GB memory (like the N97). Display is 3.5 inches, is the resistive type and boasts a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Aside from the 5730 XpressMusic phone, Nokia has also announced the new 5330 xpressMusic handsets. This new music phone boasts of instant access to music, a standard 3.5 mm jack that provides crystal clear sound and an extended battery life that gives 26 hours of playback time. In addition, the Nokia 5330 also features online sharing through Ovi, Facebook and MySpace.

The Nokia 5330 is a slider phone with 2.4-inch True Color TFT display, a numeric keypad and dedicated touch music keys for music play/pause, forward and rewind functions.
For its web browsing features, the Nokia 5330 supports mark-up languages including HTML, XHTML, WML as well as the following protocols – WAP, HTTP, HTTPS. Likewise, it supports SMS, EMS, MMS, audio messaging, IM, and cell broadcast.
Other key features of the Nokia 5330 include aGPS, a 3.2 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, LED Flash and full-screen viewfinder. The phone supports video recording at 15fps-9fps, 5x digital zoom, video white balance modes with automatic, daylight, tungsten, flourescent and other settings.
