Samsung i788

Rumor though this may be, we wouldn’t be too surprised to see the Samsung i788 hitting AT&T sometime in the near future. The handset is essentially a Blackjack III, sporting a form factor that will be more than familiar to current Blackjack I and II owners. The i788 is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional device, complete with touch screen, GPS, HSDPA, WiFi, Samsung’s bizarro optical mouse pointer, and more.

Samsung T229 red

If you’re going cross-eyed looking at the front of T-Mobile‘s new T229 flip from Samsung, you’re not the only one, we seriously thought it was some weird mistake in the press materials before we realized that Samsung was just trying to mix things up a bit by skewing the secondary display off to the side. Samsung’s W510 and F268 sets, announced today at the World IT Show in Seoul, both feature a couple little dashes of greenery, and are a decent first effort we’d wager.

Samsung W510

The W510 is made from a “bio-plastic” created with natural materials extracted from corn and its manufacturing process skips the use of lead, mercury, and other miserable ingredients. The F268 and its accessories don’t contain any brominated flame retardants or PVC, and the handset features an alarm to let you know when it’s charged and can be unplugged from the wall, we like this one best, because while definitely green you could still brag a bit about it.
