I was flipping through my local newspaper today when I saw a full page ad for Fido. Even though the Windows Mobile smartphones from Fido haven’t even been out for that long, the Canadian dog is quickly slashing prices on the devices. LG and Samsung

LG and Samsung will propose their jointly developed technology as the North American technology standard for mobile DTV. Samsung and LG held a signing ceremony at Seoul Plaza Hotel in Seoul, Korea, on 14.06.2008. At the ceremony, the two companies agreed to cooperate in order to assure rapid adoption by the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) of a single common in-band mobile DTV standard.

Samsung is apparently prepping a new Soul to wow us at CommunicAsia this year, which begins on June 17 in Singapore. Known as the L870, pictures and information floating on the Internet indicate that its ‘Soul’ has been baptised with an interactive touchpad.

Retailing at just $79.99, Slash is a slim slider phone with a sleek and compact profile. It comes equipped with a VGA camera, Bluetooth wireless technology, and full messaging capabilities (IM, text messaging and email).
