Well Taiwan are getting their very own HTC Touch Diamond obviously a different version seeing as it is called the HTC P3702 and not the HTC Touch Diamond, they both have the same features of course and user interface called the Touchflo 3D, the only difference between the HTC Touch Diamond and the HTC P3702 Victor is the casing design, the back end is clearly different.

Microsoft is expecting Windows Mobile to grow by 50% in 2008 and 2009. It is expected that by the time the fiscal year for Microsoft closes in June, over 20 million Windows Mobile handsets will have been sold. This is almost double what was sold the previous year, which came in at about 11 million Windows Mobile powered handsets sold.

Just recently Verzio entered the Windows Mobile market with the release of the Envii, a WM6 smartphone with up to date features and priced at about USD $600 – $700 depending on where you’re from.Speaking of HTC, the Envii has the look and feel of one of their products. Remove the “Verzio” logo and you’d probably think of the device to be one of theirs.

The phone is robust and compact but we’re thinking its about time that smartphones started to do away with the circa-2005 all-touchscreen and have some other way of interacting with the user interface like a keypad or jog dial on the side of the device, which the Envii does not have.

I was flipping through my local newspaper today when I saw a full page ad for Fido. Even though the Windows Mobile smartphones from Fido haven’t even been out for that long, the Canadian dog is quickly slashing prices on the devices.
