New video portal is test by Orange and is offering beta testers free unlimited use during the 8 week trial period.The service, which opens up for testing on 9th June, allows users with compatible handsets to watch news, sport and catch up with soaps like Coronation Street just by making a video call from their mobile.

This service have movie trailers and interviews with music artists as well as giving users the opportunity to upload videos to a YouTube style service where other users can watch, rate and share them.
If this “program” will be successful, Orange hope to launch to the public at a later date.
We’ve just finished up on our Z770 review. Z770 is a very interesting device, and the design is perfect. The features are a bit above average, and the software platform is superb, with only very minor bugs.

The Z770 is quite unique.This new way of thinking is something we’ll see in a few upcoming Sony Ericsson phones, although I have a feeling it won’t be particularly popular, as it’s not all positive.The Z770 sales box is quite small, and you get the most basic accessories and a bit extra bundled with the Z770.
The long awaited Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 may be seeing its day in the sun come September, but if that is not soon enough for you, than have I got some news for you. An eBay listing was found, with the item being none other than the X1. Though the eBay auction is over, the seller added a message to the listing saying that if you message him, then he can still hook you up, as he has a “good amount” of the devices.

Nokia has moved its Maps 2.0 application out of beta and it is now available in it’s final form. Maps 2.0 provides both walking and driving directions, as well as points-of-interest data.
Updates include enhanced pedestrian navigation, new satellite images and support for integrated compass orientation. Nokia announced today that its highly anticipated update for Nokia Maps has left beta stage and is now ready for consumers to download.

AT&T‘s Chief of Mobility, Ralph de la Vega, was recently quoted as saying that his company intends to offer data speeds of up to 20Mbps on its network by 2009. AT&T has previously committed to using the yet-to-be-standardized LTE technology for its next-generation 4G network. AT&T is currently testing an HSPA upgrade that will offer speeds up to 7.2Mbps, and already offers PC Cards that will support it. read more »
