Before download an application must specify which phone model you own, to adapt the program / theme (if possible) to its operating platform and screen. After downloading a number of applications required to register. Registration is free. A similar site, but with a tinge of hi5 May is mobile9.com.

Google confirmed a major update to Android 2.x

January 17, 2010 :: Posted by - admin :: Category - Google Android, News

Google confirmed that it already has a major update to Android 2.x in the pipeline tonight with word of its next codename. Android Senior Product Manager Erick Tseng in an interview told The Engadget Show that the next revision is nicknamed “Froyo“, short for “frozen yogurt”. The naming is in sync with past Android revisions’ dessert themes, as 1.6 was nicknamed “Donut” and 2.0 was “Eclair”.

What features are in store haven’t been mentioned, but Google normally reserves these codenames for significant milestones and often makes them public only when they’re within a few months of release. Version 2.0 added a much updated web browser, voice recognition and numerous other important new features, while even 2.1 adds animated backgrounds and other more noticeable changes. So far, updates have been spaced out in roughly half-year intervals.

Nexus One, the official Google phone and especially free

January 07, 2010 :: Posted by - admin :: Category - Google, Google Android, Nexus One

It was only a matter of time. Everyone knew he would come. I knew if I knew and how, and what I knew. I knew that Google, like any giant thirst for power will not stay on a market that may bring more money. Own services, operating system, Android, and lo, a phone’s (which will almost certainly be followed by others) are the means by which Google will almost certainly require the mobile Internet, just as he did and normal Internet.

As the vehicle still by the end of last year, yesterday, on the evening (Romanian time), Google has officially introduced the phone. It’s called, as he knew of that period, Nexus One. The thought of Google along with Samsung and produced by the latter. Taiwanezii from Samsung are considered, rightly, experts in Windows Mobile and more recently, Android. The fact that Google has chosen her for Nexus One is a recognition of merit Taiwanese company specializing in smart phones and PDAs.

Nexus One, big deal

It is by no means a bad device. He even is a top end, having equipped pretty much everything is better at this hour, with some exceptions. If you want a phone with Android operating system, Nexus One is the best choice. I say that those who started to come into contact with it and supporting it is the best phone with Android so far.

What brings 2010, briefly

January 04, 2010 :: Posted by - admin :: Category - Apple, BlackBerry, Google, Nexus One, Samsung, iPhone

In 2010, the smart phone market continues to grow: Samsung has announced a flood of such devices (once in 2009 were absent from the segment about smart, at least in Europe), and tomorrow is expected to officially launch the first phone that will bear the brand Google – Google Nexus One, manufactured by HTC.

Samsung will pump in rhythm known business phones with Windows Mobile and Android, Nokia to Symbian stake in principle and we will feel the least maemo Linux platform, Sony Ericsson could not leave the ramp with less than three operating systems (Android , Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 – the first two already confirmed XPERIA X10, respectively XPERIA X2), and Samsung will offer new OS Bada, in addition to Windows Mobile, Android and more unlikely, Symbian S60. Neither Motorola is not negligible after very pleasant surprise smartphone milestone. 2010 is the year that mobile phone inventors can not lie in the top one, but even more devices.

Finally, Apple will not miss the opportunity to launch the fourth generation of iPhone – informally called iPhone 4G.

Finally, the BlackBerry will also have its say, but with a greater impact on the market in America than in Europe.
