Inadvertently or perhaps intentionally, Nokia officials have overlooked some documents and a video clip related to a phone to be launched this year: Nokia X10. The video has been removed from YouTube, but photocopies of technical data remained.

Nokia X10 will be a slider QWERTY keyboard that will build on Symbian OS^3. We have an ARM processor at 600 MHz, 256 MB RAM, a 3.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16 GB or 32 GB storage space, 5 MP camera, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and A-GPS. In other words, about all you have to have a top phone.

Toshiba announced the smartphone’s successor MWC TG01. The new device, Toshiba TG02, has a little more compact design and is 10 grams more easily. Mention the adoption of a capacitive rather than resistive screen, whose size and resolution are all the 4.1 inch 480 x 800 pixels. Unfortunately, both confined news they bring this phone.

Technical facilities are absolutely identical to those present on the TG01: Snapdragon processor at 1 GHz, 256 MB RAM, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.15 MP camera and operating system Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional. Toshiba K01 is a fresh smartphone announced at the Mobile World Congress. MWC 2010 HTC has used to announce a number of phones in November. These and HTC Legend, factual and legal successor of HTC’s Hero.

With minor differences, HTC Legend takes his predecessor design. One distinction is the optical trackpad which took place at the HTC Hero existing wheel. Another difference is that HTC Legend is built from a single piece of aluminum. This is shown by the manufacturer and in the video below.

Beyond the technical facilities construction and not very spectacular, HTC Legend is leading a high quality AMOLED screen. In the smartphone operating system behind Google’s Android 2.1 Obviously, the main graphical interface is HTC Sense.

If you have patience until the new Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 appears to us, you can look over the fence, to Germany or Britain. Or maybe you prefer Japan. In all these countries the phone will be in stores in April, but the price is not yet known.

Strange is that it assumes that the phone will come with the operating system Android 1.6, which is rather outdated, given that there are mobile devices with Android 2.0 or 2.1 installed.

X10 will have an integrated 8 megapixel camera, 1GHz GPU, touchscreen 4 inch (10 cm) and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, which will cause the terminal to be one of the most expensive in the smartphone category sites. In Japan, DoCoMo will be called Xperia smartphone and will have the same technical characteristics.

Vodafone Essar and Research in Motion (RIM) announced the launch of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 for Vodafone customers in India.

The network had already very successfully launched the BlackBerry Bold 9000, and the Bold 9700 continues to build on that success. Kumar Ramanathan, Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone Essar Ltd, said that “this launch reiterates our commitment towards providing our customers with superior products and services, which enables them to balance their professional and personal lives”.

Frenny Bawa, VP, RIM India, is also very pleased, stating that “we are very excited to introduce the BlackBerry Bold 9700 in India. This best in class smartphone will certainly appeal to Vodafone customers, offering a sleek and elegant design packed with powerful communications and entertainment features”.

The Bold 9700 supports 3G HSDPA networks, has the new 624MHz processor, 256MB RAM, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 3.2 megapixel camera capable of video recording.

This launch is another big step for RIM in Asia; India is the second-most populous country in the world, with demand for mobile phones increasing each year.

Of the thousands of products presented at CES 2010, Samsung smartphone stands out thanks GW990 atypical of 4.8 inch screen that displays well above top phones launched in 2009. Moreover, the LG GW990 is the first smartphone powered by a CPU Moorestown (for the principle MID-sized) and Moblin OS based on Linux (Linux Mobile).

LG GW990 will come to market in the second half of the year

Bombardment with news from CES 2010 continues with a call from everyone from LG. It’s called GT540 and the second device is equipped with Google’s Android operating system of the Korean manufacturer.

Outside’s Android, another defining feature of this terminal is social bias. GT540 has many applications preinstalled dedicated to the hottest social network of the moment. Are customers of Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.
