No, Sony Ericsson is not dead, at least not yet. Proof lies that succeeded, finally, to bring the market a descendant of X1, XPERIA X2. That after several postponements which have only to raise our concern at the plight of Japanese-Swedish company.
XPERIA X2 has a QWERTY keyboard equipped slider and a 3.2 inch touchscreen. Compared with the first XPERIA, X2 is a camera with higher resolution, 8 MP, and the latest version of Windows Mobile 6.5. Otherwise, there are large differences between the two devices. And anyway, about the operating system, the X1 has received free upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5.
Accordingly, the logical question that arises is whether to give 490 per XPERIA X2, only one camera performing. I believe that X2 is still a bad move, already long string of mistakes made by Sony Ericsson in recent years.

Google wanted to have a phone under its brand and it appeared Nexus One, made for them by Samsung. Today is the most powerful phone with Android. For example from my Hero comes with some important improvements:
* Snapdragon processor 1 GHz (almost double as I have).
* AMOLED screen.
* 480 x 854 resolution on a 3.7 inch screen (compared with 320 × 480 pixels, so Nexus One is the resolution width as Hero’s length).
* 512 MB of RAM to 288 MB.
* HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA (in November, I know, HSUPA not yet implemented)
* Wireless 802.11n, the next b / g
* 5 MP camera has all but announced and a smile detection
* FM radio with RDS (Hero’s he has no radio)
* Android 2.1 with further improvements to menus, animated backgrounduri and other good stuff they take your eyes. (Hero site receives over 2.1 months)
* Name horrible (compared to Hero)
Little of it say that it is currently the coolest phone. I expect to be a little higher, with 3.7 inch screen, but I would not bother it. Tomorrow, on January 5, will make Google even some ads on this phone and what plans were for him. I expect to sell more cheaply, preferring to minimize its profit (or even go to the break-even) just to spread the world its Android operating system and earn money from other services that are integrated into the phone . At the same time I can not give too cheap, and Samsung as your need to sell other models sold and would be in their interest to take the Google too.
At this point I give Hero’s on a Nexus One in a ns, not stand thinking. Another model I like is the Motorola Milestone (which the U.S. is selling like hot cakes called Droid), which is bad though, foam, is that true QWERTY keyboard, which I am convinced, again testing the N97 and N900 that’s a good idea for my style of mobile users.

For several days now, since they felt the first image-spy with the new Google phone Nexus One, “tap” with new information and rumors about this model seems to no longer stop.
– Nexus One will have that new operating systems Andoid version, 2.1, and now aprut clip and 5 minutes in which this interface is run on a much awaited model.
– image quality is not quite right, but so is life unfair: those who marvel phone also fits hand and not find a decent camcorder to make a more qualitative shooting him.
– the clip delivers a fast navigation through menus and most current applications on Android.
– changes of the new interface does not seem too radical of v 2.0, but worth to mention here that the browser allows “pinch-to-zoom”.
