Verizon Wireless offers post-paid broadband at $60 for 5GB/month or $40 for 250MB/month. As a point of comparison, Sprint’s pre-paid wireless broadband option via Virgin Mobile USA offers unlimited data for $40 per month.
It was just a scant few days ago that we saw the first live pictures of the upcoming Verizon Wireless VX9600 Versa. Now we have a tentative release date for all you folks excited to see this modular LG Dare-Voyager hybrid hit the market. According to Best Buy Mobile’s inventory system, the LG VX9600 is slated for release on February 22, 2009. You can expect it to hit Verizon Wireless stores and website around the same time. Whether this modular phone will wow us with its “versatility” or be a good idea gone bad remains to be seen but at least we now know how long we have to wait to find out.

Yesterday we reported that the new Verizon Wireless Rebate Sheet showed the Casio G’zOne Boulder launching within the next few weeks and today some pictures have been leaked. With the military grade capable of withstanding even the toughest falls, the G’zOne is slated to launch on Verizon’s new Push to Talk (PTT) network and compete directly with Sprint’s QChat.

With a VGA camera and support for EVDO Rev A, the G’zOne Boulder comes with a screw lock battery cover and charging contacts outside of the G’zOne Series. While weight and dimension information is still a mystery, the rumor on the street is the G’zOne Boulder is much slimmer than the original.

Samsung’s SCH-u940 Glyde is the latest touchscreen device to be offered by the Korean handset giant. It goes on sale today at Verizon Wireless locations. The Glyde has a lot of the same cool technology that the LG enV2 and Voyager offer, but is far more compact in size. With specs like a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, EV-DO 3G data, an auto-focus camera, and a full touchscreen UI, the Glyde could be very appealing to those Verizon customers with a bit of iPhone envy.

Verizon Wireless announces availability of the MOTO Q 9c smartphone that runs Windows Mobile 6 Standard, and a full QWERTY keyboard with “hot keys.”
